Investment authority
Major investments are supported by trustee resolutions, due diligence, funding review and a recorded rationale.

Clear responsibilities, independent judgment and a record of every material decision.
Proposed trustee model

The proposal recommends an initial three-trustee model: two family trustees and one independent trustee.
Trustee appointments and beneficiary classes remain family decisions. The independent trustee is intended to bring substantive judgment to investment decisions, conflicts and the administration of the trust.
The trust deed, formal authorisation and trustee resolutions will define how the trust acts. Individual appointments are not presented as final on this website.
Decision framework
Major investments are supported by trustee resolutions, due diligence, funding review and a recorded rationale.
Related-party decisions require declared conflicts, a commercial rationale and appropriate independent oversight.
Asset registers, accounting records and regular investment reviews support continuity and accountability.
Governance in practice
The proposed family investment policy establishes an operating framework alongside the trust deed.
Asset allocation, liquidity, leverage, concentration risk and distribution principles.
Investment performance, asset records, tax and accounting, advisers and governance.
Valuation, legal and tax advice, financing, conflicts and trustee authority.
Legal, tax, exchange-control, banking and custody considerations specific to each jurisdiction.
